About this Content OER
This unsupervised course offers digital math problems for computer science, science and engineering in higher education. It covers basic topics in linear algebra and calculus, divided into computational and comprehension tasks (STACK) and programming tasks in Python (Jupyter notebooks).
The calculation and comprehension tasks are suitable for self-study and assessments are mostly randomized, automatically evaluated and offer detailed feedback. Programming tasks can be used in courses or as a supplement to self-study; some are optimized for corrections and assessments.
The tasks are sorted by topic and are available in course sections. The calculation and comprehension tasks can be viewed in Moodle tests and the programming tasks can be tested in the browser with JupyterLite. Lecturers can find all materials and handouts as Moodle XML, Python file and PDF in the corresponding folders in the Moodle course itself.
Goals
This course is suitable for self-study as well as for use in courses, for example to prepare or follow up lectures or to prepare for examinations in STEM subjects, especially engineering and natural sciences, physics and computer science.
