Data literacy for learning analytics (for students)

About this Content OER

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to data literacy in the context of Learning Analytics (LA) for students. Given the diverse challenges posed by the use of LA, it is important to develop a curriculum that takes into account the different skill levels and needs of students and teachers.

The training materials are specifically tailored to the needs of students. They are given guidance to derive actions based on LA data about their own learning behaviour.
The course uses a variety of interactive elements such as video, audio and text as well as H5P elements to provide an engaging learning experience. It is divided into different action areas that allow learners to gradually build their data literacy and develop practical skills in using learning analytics.

This course is suitable for students of all skill levels and specialisms who wish to develop their data literacy in the area of learning analytics. No specific prior knowledge is required.
